Burnley Store First Driver Sings Into Final!
This week our Burnley delivery driver sang his way into Hooch’s Karaoke final! 10! North West Vocalists went head to head in a highly anticipated sing off in Manchester. Danny Cooper has been singing for around five to six years and has worked with a number of well-established musicians from Lauren Beswick to Cy Benson and currently has interest from a Major Record label.
Danny started singing as a way filling the gap that his Rugby life left when he broke his leg at the tender age of 16. He was set to make a career from the sport, represent top amateur teams in the North and Winning silverware on the way. At school he would impersonate popular chart toppers such as James Morrison, The Kooks and James Blunt but, recently, found his love for swing and Michael Bublé.
Last year Danny won Lancashire idol which encouraged him to take a flight to the sunny Canary islands and Make a living as a Bublé/Sinatra impersonator. Unfortunately illness forced him to return to home shores and take vocal rest.
Never touching the disco scene before, the karaoke competition seemed a challenge for our newest recruit; however, after being named judges’ favourite, we may be seeing him in flares and an upturned collar sooner than we thought.
You can come to support Danny and experience the cream of young, North West talent on Sunday the 25th of May. He’ll be competing at the Toll Bar Inn for the chance of winning £1,000 and being crowned the Karaoke King!! A special Keith Lemon surprise in store too…
