Mayor and Mascot Help to Kickstart New Blackburn Businesses
Store First help local businesses thrive
The Mayor of Blackburn teamed up with a football mascot to help fledging Blackburn businesses get off the ground at an Enterprise Morning held by Store First.
Store First invited Blackburn with Darwen Council, Blackburn College, the East Lancs Chamber of Commerce plus various business advisors and small businesses to the event, which was designed to show how online companies or start-up firms can run their business from Store First’s Davyfield Road centre in Blackburn.
Store First was announced as the new shirt and stadium sponsor for Accrington Stanley FC in January this year, and chose the Enterprise Morning to unveil a brand new mascot for the club commissioned to celebrate the launch of a new away kit in the Store First colours.
The Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen, Cllr Zamir Khan, and other guests were given an overview and tour of the storage centre’s business facilities – which include free boardroom and canteen facilities, free wifi, PO Box address and telephone service – as they tucked into coffee and bacon sandwiches.
Long term customer Sam Stone, who runs his removal company from the Blackburn centre, said: “We’ve used other storage companies in the past but the added benefits you get here just make it tick tick for us. We swear by Store First – you can’t beat them for security, 24-hour access, the quality of the materials and all the extra facilities like meeting rooms to meet customers.”
Store First offers flexible leases for short and long-term storage in Blackburn. Centres are served by state-of-the-art security systems with 24/7 access available for customers – for more details, email info@storefirst.com or call 01282 899899.
