When my partner and I decided to sell our respective houses and move into a new one together, we knew it wouldn't be the smoothest process. It took us around 40 minutes to load everything in, and once we were done, she drove it straight back to the storage facility for us. This meant we could get straight to work unloading everything into the unit without hassle. The free van service saved us both time and money—we didn't need to hire our own van or a removal company just to get our stuff into storage. It was so efficient and made the whole process a lot easier!
Store First Burnley made life so much easier during those chaotic months of packing up two houses. Accessing the units was straightforward, and the place felt safe even when we were there late at night. There are loads of security cameras, heavy shutter doors after hours, and emergency contact numbers for any issues with the lift or access. Speaking of the lift, it was a godsend. With our units on the second floor, the large lift and ample moving equipment made transporting bulky items like a king-size bed and three-seater sofa manageable. Even fully loaded, there was still plenty of space to manoeuvre.
We were amazed by how much we could fit in those 75 sq. ft units. Just when we thought we'd packed them full, we'd find more space to squeeze in another box or piece of furniture. Over the 10 months, everything stayed in precisely the same condition as when we first moved it in. The units were clean and dry, and the temperature was steady—no nasty surprises when we emptied them out.
