Victory stacks up as £3.5k sponsor backs Lowerhouse Juniors
Children who play for a Burnley football club scored a victory after stepping out in new kits from a big sponsor.
Lowerhouse Junior FC are enjoying a double celebration after securing kit sponsorship from the Store First self-storage centre in Burnley, then seeing their under 8s team storm to victory when they unveiled their new strips for the first time at a tournament in Accrington.
Store First Burnley has invested £3,500 in nearby Lowerhouse Juniors Football Club, providing brand new strips for 120 children across nine of the club’s teams as well as 20 coaches’ jackets.
And the kits gave Lowerhouse Juniors’ a real spring in their step when they attended a tournament at Globe Bullough Park FC in Accrington.
The Under 13s reached the quarter finals at the two-day tournament, while the Under 8s won their group.
Gemma Drury, Lowerhouse Junior FC Club Secretary who also works for Store First Burnley, said: “The new kits just look fantastic and the children certainly kicked off their first outing in style.
“Players, coaches and parents alike are all delighted that Store First Burnley chose to give something back to the community by supporting grass roots football via a great little club like ours. We will do our best to make them proud!”
Store First, which is also the main sponsor for Accrington Stanley FC, has self-storage centres across the UK with free pickup, free WiFi and a host of other free facilities for domestic and business customers. Find out more about Store First Burnley self storage here.
