Bringing Christmas Cheer with Cash4Kids’ Mission Christmas at Store First Ellesmere Port

Store First Ellesmere Port becomes charity drop off for Mission Christmas

Christmas is a time for joy, generosity, and giving—but for many families across the UK, it can also be a time of worry and hardship. That’s where Cash4Kids’ Mission Christmas comes in, helping ensure that no child has to wake up on Christmas morning without a gift. This incredible charity supports disadvantaged children and young people from birth up to the age of 18, providing them with the joy and magic of Christmas that every child deserves.

This year, Store First Ellesmere Port is proud to play a role in this heart-warming mission by acting as a Mission Christmas drop-off point. We're inviting everyone in our local community to join us in making Christmas brighter for children who need it most.

What is Mission Christmas?

Mission Christmas is run by Cash4Kids, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. Whether it’s providing toys for children who might otherwise go without, or funding projects that support young people, Cash4Kids makes a real difference in communities all over the country.

The heart-breaking truth is that, for many families struggling with financial difficulties, Christmas presents are simply out of reach. Mission Christmas aims to change that by collecting toys, gifts, and donations to bring festive cheer to children who might otherwise be forgotten.

How We’re Helping at Store First Ellesmere Port

At our Ellesmere Port facility, we’ve partnered with Cash4Kids to make it as easy as possible for you to support Mission Christmas. Our store manager, Kat, has gone above and beyond, enlisting the help of Stace and Year 10 & 11 students from The Bridge School. These amazing students are volunteering their time each week as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award to collect and transport toys to Mission HQ. Their dedication and enthusiasm show just how powerful community spirit can be, especially during the festive season.

How You Can Get Involved

Making a difference this Christmas is simple. Here’s how you can help:

  1. Drop Off a Gift: Bring a new, unwrapped toy or gift to our Store First Ellesmere Port location. Any contribution, big or small, will go a long way in bringing a smile to a child’s face.
  2. Donate Online: If you’re unable to visit in person, you can make a monetary donation directly to Cash4Kids via their website at cashforkids.org.uk/mission.
